Cherry Blossoms

SOLD

I was a little unsure about the composition on this one,
but I do find it interesting to look at, it keeps
my attention. Not sure how to describe this, but I like
my paintings to have an Immediate center of interest,
and then a True center of interest-
an unexpected
place...
it isn't as obvious, but draws you back to it
over and over again. For me that place is the
two little buds to the left.

12 x 16 on Arches Cold Press 140 lb

You succeed in painting the nature of these blossoms. They bloomfor a fleeting few days and then they are gone! Also I tink you have a good command of your blues and greens.

Galina, Lauren, Marie, thanks for looking and commenting!

those greens are hard sometimes! I need to remember to add more burnt sienna in the mix next time.

Alisa:)
